Also, I just finished Back from the Dead by Bill Walton today. Really good read on his career at UCLA and in the NBA along with the insane amount of injuries he dealt with.

I wanna feel like I feel when I'm asleep. Prestigious

Russ with his 16th triple double and solid beatdown of the Raps tonight.

Just saw that the Lakers are down by 40 and I think I'm only watching Kobe's final game out of the rest they have this season for the sake of my sanity.

  7. Oh my god the Jazz are killing them. Hahah. Holy shit.

Didn't even turn to the game. Just got the 3Q notification and laughed.

I had to do a double take on that Utah/LA score. Good lord.

I can only hope next season will be even slightly better at this point.

Watching Avery and Isaiah playing against Crawford is really heartwarming if you know anything about their story.

  12. Blazers playing well.

Oof hate to see Pierce getting hurt like that. He was having a really good game.

This is an episode most people should listen to regardless of career choice, especially younger folks. The lack of financial knowledge for most people is staggering. When they are talking about basic financial goals and strategies, that's 101 right there. The only difference is that an NBA player is going to be more focused on preservation of assets, whereas most people need to be growing their wealth to hit their retirement goals. The ideas, the discussions, the steps are all the same. My first "big" purchase out of college was a Roth IRA. I would tell most new hires to do something similar.

Was wondering why no one was posting about Hood in the other thread...

Hood had his coming out party. 30 points and 8-9 from three. He is really coming along nicely.

Kinda hoping the Bucks go with a big man. Kind of a surplus of them in the range of picks that they'll likely have. Would love to land Poeltl.

Rooting so hard for Brooklyn to tank and the Suns to win a game or two in this home stretch.

Then again, shouldn't hang my hopes on the lottery. It could be Tim Duncan all over again.

I don't watch enough Bucks games to know, but based on their roster makeup, I think someone like Dunn would be a good fit if he slides. Dunn would instantly be an upgrade on MCW and would pair nicely with Giannis, GM, and Parker. I think their roster has a bunch of PG options now, but none of them compliment their core enough. That said, I don't love the post options after the starters, so going big is a fair argument.

Oh, I would love Dunn, I just don't see any chance he falls past 6 or 7. Of course, depends on the lottery and stuff, just guessing we'll realistically be in the 9-11 range.

I think Poetl makes sense if you draft a big man, but I have a hard time seeing him and GM starting together down the road. Drafting 9-11, you would ideally like to be drafting a starter. Perhaps it means a trade for GM or something.

I would be fine with Monroe leaving sooner rather than later, hah.

  24. Mason Plumlee is sitting on the bench outside my building right now. Haha. He's huge. I'm way too chicken to go say hi though.
