Yeeessssss this. I do it all the time and hate myself for it. There’s stuff like Succession that I know based on all available information I would love, but I also want to devote my time and full focus to it and I don’t want to botch it so instead I just watch something less taxing or that I’ve seen already and can analyze more easily.

Or like Fosse/Verdon which I finally got to like a month ago and have already rewatched because it was made entirely for me but still took me six months to get to for the same reason. It was absolutely worth it once I made the effort though.

Also big big lol at me being Santa, that made my morning. You’re all getting blu rays.

i hate overusing the term “underrated” bc its usually something someone uses just to say they like something, but in the age of shows like the office, friends, parks & rec, etc. getting binged on netflix and developing an almost cultlike following, i feel comfortable saying Scrubs is one of the most underrated sitcoms of our time. It might be better than all the above mentioned shows.

I've also just accepted there are a bunch of shows I won't watch like someone will recommend something to me and be like "hey check this out" and I'll be like "thanks I won't" cuz there's just no way

 

I had no clue I would love it as much as I do, especially with such unlikable characters but it's so enthralling

 

i feel like i'd be a lot more productive without a dick

 

I've never watched most prestige tv because I use tv as an escape and it's daunting to have hundreds of hours of a show to watch

all of those shows have aged terribly, scrubs still holds up though.
