    Who Watches The Watchmen? Supporter

Mou let it out there he was close to a job at one of the top 6 English clubs like a month ago, everyone assumed it was Arsenal at the time but he's clearly been talking to Spurs for a while. Althetic piece is a good piece of journalism but im sure it's all sourced from Tottenham's side of the story

I love my team but god I am going to dread watching them under Jose

Mou getting 15mil a year, you have to respect this guys ability to get himself into these gigs given how his last job went

You’ll enjoy it for a year or two while you’re getting decent results and he’s getting under everyone’s skin. Then it’ll all come crashing down.

He'll galvanise them to finish fifth this season, and then when Eriksen, Jan, Toby all leave on frees and he doesn't get the funding to adequately replace them, he'll have a fit and they finish eighth and Mou is sacked in January.

  8. I can’t believe I woke up yesterday with Poch. And woke up today with Mourinho.

    You're such a player.

  11. Fans are gonna be so conflicted when Levy shells out money if January haha

Mad that Mourinho is immediately getting backed while Poch never did. But happy that players are coming in.

It’s going to be an interesting environment his first home game.

Kane is gonna haaaaaaaaate playing under Mourinho. Look at how under-utilized Benzema, Higuain, etc were under him.

  13. Yeah I’m a bit worried about that too but I remember reading articles about how much Mourinho loves Kane. I really have no clue what to expect.

Jose bringing in newer people and not his typical backroom crew gives me some hope that he's learned and is going to actually try to adapt instead of doing the same old

I hate that I'm trying to talk myself into this being okay

Hiring Campos as director of football would be huge. Not only because of his history but because it’d mean Levy taking a step back. He is giving more power to Mourinho (assuming it is his call to hire Campos).

The only thing funnier than Mourinho crashing and burning at Spurs would be seeing him succeed there with a DoF installed with proper financial backing.

Personally I think it crashing and burning would be MUCH funnier, but I accept I may be biased.

The guy is objectively one of the greatest ever so he can do wonders for Spurs if the circumstances are right. I think the fans would be ecstatic if he won the Europa League like he did with United, for example, so something like that or a domestic cup is a real possibility in the next season and a half because he's proven he can win with anyone.

This Spurs squad is objectively multiple levels above the United one he took over.

So odd seeing Mourinho in a Spurs coat. Like seeing the first pictures of Benitez in Chelsea tracksuit. Takes a bit of getting used to.
