I've been fuming since last night over this shit. I'm embarrassed to be a Browns fan today. Myles Garrett deserved that suspension and then some. He hurt the team. Not football. No excuse. Complete and utter joke of a "professional" athlete.

Pouncey 3 games is about right. The tackle and punch is whatever...that’s a game...but the kicking and extra stuff when decastro has him down was dumb

i feel like Garrett will be back to start next season, or maybe miss the first week. Goodell and the NFL worded this good to sound tough now "indefinitely!" but by the time next season starts i wonder how many people will remember (hopefully a lot) and i could see Goodell trying to worm his way out of this by quietly reinstating him in the dead of summer.

also, every offensive lineman / player in the league now has an easy go-to to get in his head (if / when he plays again). imagine if Garrett's having a bad day, getting penalties or showing frustration... you know players are gonna chirp at him about swinging a helmet. probably never gonna live this down, nor should he.

I think suspending Garrett into next season is probably a mistake for the league. Reinstate him after the season and don’t allow it to be a story next year

Has anyone seen anything else on this part of it?

Beating the Lions would be great because I want to win but if we lose to Jeff Driskell, maybe that’ll be enough to fire Garrett.

I just bought tickets to Jags @ Titans baby

My favorite seats (sideline, as close midfield as possible, upper level section but one of the lower rows, seats near the aisle) were only $60 each, $80 after fees. That’s insane and awesome and so worth it. Pretty sure I can take a bus from ATL to Nashville for $10 too.

2nd Question - just fuck Ronnie Harrison then?

No, he would take Jarrod Wilson’s spot

I expressly stated I like what Harrison is doing

And the Jags really aren’t that broke now that we don’t have to give Ramsey $18-$20 million per season. Marcel Dareus and Andrew Norwell are two guys making upwards of $10 million per season that I have no problem waving goodbye. Marqise Lee as well and he makes $9 mill.

Telvin Smith also hasn’t come off the books yet - $12 mill per season.

We’ve already paid Myles Jack so Yannick is the only big guy next offseason. After that, in 2021? Campbell could easily be done by then and retire which is another $14-$15 mill per year off the books.

"The Jags arent broke now so long as they cut three players"

Also, Harrison is best suited for the role he is in now.

I also didn’t say Harrison would switch positions. Adams would be amazing at free safety as well. Especially in a defense that interchanges safeties — both our guys back there trade off deep centerfield responsibilities... so Adams would still get plenty of time in the box like Wilson does

Telvin isnt on our books rn

Also, those 3 players should be cut. Zero reason to keep them. None of them are performing up to their pay grade

He in that context wouldve meant Harrison, but you meant Adams. I mean yeah I'm fine with thatsure r

Not how it works. He is still on the books until the league year ends. That money gets accelerated to next season. I’ve looked it up.
