MCR at Riot Fest may be the only time I try and camp out for a headliner, hoping whatever day they play is a weak one

They'll be up against the Op Ivy reunion.

They'll be up against the split set Transit, Swellers, Polar Bear Club reunion.

Can Polar Bear Club even reunite?

Hey guys, do you think Limp Bizkit will play this year? They announced a festival headliner with Parkway Drive, Machine Gun Kelly, Sevendust, and Lit somewhere in Texas on September 9th.

    Seriously though...

Polar Bear Club can't (I don't think so, anyway) play again unless something miraculous happened with Jimmy's voice.

Fireworks would be cool on the side stage

are we still lucky to be here? Prestigious

as sacrilegious as it is to say on this site, i don't think i'd want to see a polar bear club reunion period because there's no way they sound as good as they did with jimmy during their prime. i wish him the best, but it wouldn't be the same.

I just randomly picked a band that Justin would weep over having to decide between MCR, haha.

This is my fear as well, it really is one of the first "back in my day" references that you know younger people will never get to experience. Polar Bear Club absolutely killin' it (pun fully intended) with Jimmy pre vocal catastrophe.

Hi hello, it's me, one of the only 5 people who loved 'Death Chorus', go ahead and AMA.

Shit, I should have prepared an answer.

Uhhhh I thought it was a bold move to take it that direction when they had to have known it was gonna be received poorly. I also super dig the...Saves the Day vibe? I'm blanking on what other band the record reminds me of, but it's a super enjoyable listen for me. "Graph Paper Glory Days" and "For Show" are goddamn quality.

I mean obvi Clash Battle it top tier, but still.

After my pun post I've been listening to CBGP and boy do I miss this band.

I was gonna post that I'd be down for Death Chorus in full at a reunion set if that were to ever happen. I LOVED that album & the direction they took. With that being said, Pawner is probably in my top 10 favorite songs ever written in the history of music. I wanna fuck things up just thinking about hearing it

Death Chorus is still very good. Not up to the level as their previous albums but still a good album

Just saw Knocked Loose in Chicago, I think they would be an amazing add for Riot Fest next year

Just in case any of you thought Black Crowes was a possibility:

Live Nation is proud to announce The Black Crowes: Shake Your Money Maker Tour at Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre on Saturday, August 15, 2020.

Honestly wouldn't be surprised if we get PUP and the Menz next year. Both coming off headliners on new album cycles in 2019, haven't played Riot since 2014 and 2017 respectively.

Pups set the next time they play Riot is going to be huge. This year does seem pretty likely

Looking at the bands in that "scene" who are coming out of proverbial hibernation next year I wouldn't be shocked to see Strike Anywhere, the Flatliners, and/or Broadway Calls on the bill as well. They're all lined up to do a bunch of festivals overseas already and starting to play shows stateside again...

On the smaller tip compared to PUP and the Menz, but y'know, close enough. Haha.
