Like i said i absolutely don’t think it was red but it’s perfectly natural and human to want to retaliate, i don’t even think there’s necessarily anything really wrong about that. Obviously you don’t want it to end in leg break but someone lays a heavy challenge on you it’s natural to want to lay one on them

  2. Sure, it’s certainly possible that the previous foul played a factor in Son’s motivation. But we have no way of knowing that and I think it’s silly to automatically assume it was (I know you aren’t). And when you consider it’s wasn’t even a hard tackle at all it seems like a big stretch to say Son was going in with an intent to take him out. It was a bit late and a stupid play by Son and he most definitely deserved a yellow. But I think it’s impossible to determine ill-intent and it’s unfair to Son.

I was trying to describe myself to someone

Quite from the Premier League on the red card:

"The red card for Son was for endangering the safety of a player, which happened as a consequence of his initial challenge."

But his challenge dumped him into a more reckless challenge by his team mate. By that argument, why wasn't Aurier sent off too? Aurier is flying in before Son has even made contact. Not exactly in control, is he?

I’m seeing a lot of rumors saying Alena could move to Spurs in January. I’ve always thought he was really good player. Why would Barca be selling him?

He’s behind Arthur, De Jong, Busquets, Vidal, Rakitic, and Roberto in the pecking order. I don’t think we want him to leave, but he definitely wants more playing time I’d imagine.

  9. That was my thinking. How do rate him? You've obviously seen him more than me.

He’s lively, but still pretty raw. He’s been with the first team a few years, but his only true run of games was the start to this season.

My Dad and Brother have gone up to London today to see Chelsea Ajax but I couldn't go as I was not able to get today & tomorrow off of work :verysad::verysad::verysad:

To make up for it I've made them buy me one of those heinous half-and-half scarves they sell outside the stadium as a little gift lmao. My brother had to buy it as my dad hates them so much he refused :crylaugh:

I have a half and half scarf for both UCL games I’ve gone to. They look awful, but they’re quite special to me :crylaugh:

So Xhaka has been stripped of the captaincy and will likely never play for the club again about a month after being appointed captain. Things are going well at Arsenal, nothing to see here

Blind slid in and fouled, Veltman was hit in the arm with the ball.

you’re also not allowed play advantage if you’re giving a red card unless there is a clear chance to score. Given there were defenders back, it wasn’t. Quadruple fuck up by the ref.
