I'm not entirely sure I find him as charismatic as others do. Everything about him for me is just "really solid".

I agree. Probably the most charismatic and natural speaker since Rock

Nakamura is really great, he hasn't reallu been at his A game since the Zayn match, which is a rightful MOTY candidate, even if I wasn't as blown away by it as some were.

Nakamura/Styles from Wrestlekingdom this year was a 5 star match for me. Watch it.

    A DILAPIDATED BOAT! Prestigious

Pretty cool article from Splitsider about the correlation between the pro wrestling and comedy communities.

Kind of backs up the argument I like to use on UFC bros who dismiss wrestling that wrestling probably has more in common in theory with stand up and improv comedy than it does with MMA or boxing.

Even though its USADA, it could impact Summerslam.

I'm curious to see what WWE does here. They don't have much time to suspend him if they want him for Summerslam, if they suspend him at all, but they would look real bad if they don't. Everything was looking good for them, but this happens.

Brock v Roman in a ladder match for a jar of clean urine is one step closer to becoming reality!

Think you have to suspend him here, will be a lot of external pressure on WWE otherwise.

I don't know how legal things work, but can WWE even suspend him for failing a drug test that isn't theirs? UFC obviously can because they're linked with USADA, but WWE has their own program that wouldn't have gotten Brock.

Depends on whether the substance is also on their list. USADA probs has stricter guidelines.

    I guess I was wrong.

    • This is really bad for WWE, as he is the cover of WWE2K16 and he's wrestling at SS
    • The questions arises of how he never failed a WWE test in the 4 years he's been there
    • More serious than Roman Reigns suspension because of the publicity of it
    • Alvarez points out that Lesnar passed 5 of 6 tests in a 3 week span, and failed the 6th, so that's weird. Meltzer however mentions that this has happened before.
    • Once Nevada starts a hearing, and if he's suspended by the commission, he will be suspended from any commission in any state that regulates prowrestling too, which means that he wouldn't even be able to fight in SummerSlam (NY)
    • This is bad for UFC, because they've had 3 pops too close to a fight (Jones, Silva, Lesnar, although Lesnar and Silva actually fought)
    • There's precedent on suspending/firing people for failing outside drug tests (Billy Gunn)

question... could they suspend him in the same vain as Reigns 30 days or whatever? that way he doesn't have to miss summerslam?

depends on the WWE rules. If he doesn't fail a WWE test, they might not have grounds to actually suspend him.

Per the Wellness Policy guidelines, part-timers aren't subject to drug testing (if I remember correctly). That would explain why Triple H and Brock are always safe.

    Interesting
If its written like the sports leagues write their wellness policies, then its plenty easy to suspend him for an outside incident. NFL players get suspended frequently enough for a traffic stop and possession, which is not even failing a drug test. And its USADA, which is far more legit than the WWE wellness testing.

On the back of Reigns suspension, it'd be hard to gloss over this.

But this is the big deal. NY and Nevada have this still, what other states do? Cause if its steroids, that's a 2 year ban from the UFC, and potentially the same from USADA. Meaning he cant wrestle in NY or NV for 2 years. If any of the other big states are the same way, it kills the purpose of having Brock for big events

I think NY and Nevada are the only two that he would be gone from, but this whole ordeal could damage Lesnar enough where there's no point in having him. Have him lose at Mania in Orlando and let him go. He's not going to be seen as a legit fighter anymore and that was his entire draw.
