the thing that gets me the most is that I already have Coachella tickets for $429 which comes with MCR and a ton more artists, I cant justify for myself paying basically 1/3 of that ticket price for just one band that I would see a few months later anyway

 

Tickets to see a lot of older bands are just cheap in general and don't sell out like they used to. I saw Steve Miller and Frampton dirt cheap

 

If Bruce took a 7 year hiatus in the 90s you bet your ass ticket prices would be insane

Gonna bet their set in December is better and longer than the Coachella or Riot Fest ones though.

It will for sure, and it will definitely be much more fan-oriented versus probably more hit-oriented, but still.... $150

 

Honestly, I’d rather pay that than over $500 all together to be around something or anything like Coachella.

 

Also, can’t imagine the Coachella crowd being nearly as fun

 

I’d demand they pay me to attend. Music festivals are not my scene.

 

Well yeah, but you obviously enjoy different things than me. Coachella wins the contest for me hands down.

 

Riot Fest is the only one I go to/would want to go to. Other festivals seem miserable. Riot is so much cheaper too.

Riot fest was way more miserable the year I went than Pitchfork anytime I went. Wayyyyy too big and too many stages. Really hated it

 

I go to Bonnaroo every year and I love the people and environment there, but other festivals seem like such a chore

 

what year? They’ve done a better job condensing it and having stages not as far/not as many. There was one year that was super spread out and too big for sure

ah yeah makes sense. That was the first year they moved to that location and it was a headache. It’s been better the last few years
