Believe it or not, I actually knew who Mark was before I knew who Tom was before I was into the band. Mark has a much better social media presence than Tom does too

 

I mean Mark was the main face of blink in the mainstream at first.
Josie: mostly Mark
Dammit: mostly Mark
WMAA: almost all Mark
ATST: Tom
Adam's Song: all Mark
Man Overboard: mostly Mark
The Rock Show: almost all Mark

 

Tom's lost a ton of followers after dropping out, he had a little less than Travis iirc. Mark is by far the most active one and he also gets a lot of outside RTs just from his jokes (and from sucking up to 5SOS, ATL and 21p lol)

 

When the majority of people think of blink-182, it's safe to say Mark is their first impression.

But now I secretly hope that one day in the future, Matt will be most peoples' first impression, hehe

 

For a while maybe even Travis could be the face for the not as into music more gossip mags and reality show addicts

Early Morning's realization: Every track from California (except Brohemian) is named after the lyrics. Quite common on blink's song, but never to the point that all the songs on an album are named that way. (Untitled gets close)

 

Appears a lot didn't since Bored to Death is there first number 1 since the Tom heavy singles started.

 

Now what?

 

So out of curiosity everyone:

Do you like to know the set list before you go into a show, or do you prefer being in the dark and surprised? Why?

I usually prefer to be on the dark, so I can be like "OMG THEYRE PLAYING THIS I DIDNT EXPECT THIS!" But with the blink coming up I'll check out the 07/21 set list just to see if any new songs were added. You guys?

 

Ideally, I'd like to be in the dark. However, I'm not seeing them until mid-august so there's no way I'm not look at set-lists/YouTube performances along the way. The live experience is wild enough that I don't necessarily need surprises

I wanna know how many total California songs they're playing before I get my tickets. I've seen them twice this summer already.

 

I say I won't look at the setlist, but I know when I see the news article on the main page I'm going to read it. No self control!

Give me Cynical, Sober, She's Out of Her Mind, and San Diego. Then lets dig into the archives for Going Away to College and Apple Shampoo. I'd pay a premium.

I mean if you've been to a blink show in the last seven years then you've already seen the setlist

 

Oddly enough, this isn't the case for almost every song on Dude Ranch. The only song titles that pull from lyrics on there are Pathetic, Boring, Enthused, and I'm Sorry

 

I can get on board with that. The chorus of Left Alone would be fucking huge in a live setting
