Congratulations is so good in the car

 

555 is melodic heaven.

 

Everyone says 555 sounds like FOB. I hear a lot of Paper Route. The beat of both of these songs is basically the same.

 

Love the songs. I thought the production sounded really flat in some places, but then I turned back on Soundcheck on my phone and it sounds much better:

 

I’ve had breakfast cereal less crunchy than this album’s guitars.

I'm too dumb to know if that's praise or an insult.

 

I think cereal is pretty crunchy... = the guitars are crunchier = compliment? Right? Lol

 

Some cereals are quite crunchy like those Oh's that shatter ur jaw. But then there are softer cereals like capn crunch that's been in the bowl of milk any longer than two seconds, or fruity pebbles which are not crunchy at all

 

You guys just voiced my entire thought process after reading that comment.

 

Soggy cereal is my go to. cinnamon crunch, reeses puffs, cookie crisp....yum.

I love that 'karate kid' drums sound they used in the last part of Congratulations, what a great closing track

i can’t believe i spent so many days without 555 in my life. already a classic jimmy song

 

Surviving (the song) is quickly becoming one of my favorite openers. I've listened to it so many times now. It just builds and builds so wonderfully. I wouldn't mind them opening every concert with it from here on out.

Criminal Energy fucking rips and I can’t stop listening to it.

 

“Criminal Energy” is such a riff-y song haha. Feels like a nod to classic rock.

 

So I just watched the 555 video and I can't even... what was that? I kinda like it, I guess.
