Hah. I also am friends with a girl who is the biggest Swift stan in the world and we were talking like two weeks ago about the fact that she is clearly on the song and was prob using a pseudonym as a writer. Apparently we should be internet journalists?

This is the best thing from this whole situation so far.

 

The way randos cheer for her downfall is gross and sus. It happens to every woman who is on top in the pop world, and she's been on top longer than many people thought she'd be so they're getting rabid. Like I'll be the first one to say I think she's annoying and I have some other issues with her, but dang she's not evil for it! Almost none of these pop ladies are like Chris Brown or even JB level people, so it's incredibly transparent. I feel like there's a fine line between wanting the drama for amusement and like wanting the drama to destroy a career idk. She's overexposed and this is supposed to be her break!

I guess you could call me a T.Swift "hater" of sorts but it has nothing to do with her career & wanting her to fail - one of the things I dislike most about life in general are those people who are permanently stuck in "high-school mode", and (to me at least), Taylor Swift is 100%, without doubt, one of those people. From the popular girl crew she curates to the catty sniping towards any other woman that may possibly make her look bad (Katy, Kendall, Nicky among others) - it's all just childish to me imho. Also, far too many people act like she can do no wrong, and it's like ??? She is a human being; flawed & not above being called out for said flaws. Just like everyone else.

 

I mentioned earlier i dislike her outside of her music as well but dang theres way worse ppl out there and its not the hill to die on. Not directed at you but the ppl cheering for someone to "ruin" her. And tbh I have a feeling most ppl in hwood are kinda ridiculous she's just better at it lol and knows how to win the game.

 

Taylor is vicious and that's admirable.

 

I wouldn't be mad if it was directed at me, I know mine isn't a popular opinion! And yes, there are definitely worse celebrities out there - but honestly, i've though she was sus ever since I saw her on a Sweet 16 Celebrity episode or some shit (may have been her going to prom?!) - her personality wasn't pleasant on there and it doesn't seem like it's changed! Whether that is biased media coverage working against her & clouding my view of her is a whole other can of worms tho...

 

Nah it really wasn't directed at you cause there are celebs I dislike when there are way worse ppl out there too. Some people just get under your skin lol. But to me it's like context and how ppl voice that dislike. Like normal dislike vs weird over the top sexist dislike.

 

I wonder how the name Nils Sjoberg was chosen as her pseudonym?

 

it just sounds like any given anonymous swedish hitmaker. everyone pretty much assumed it was one of max martins newest disciples i think.

It's funny cause there were rumors of her writing the song under that name before, but since there was an actual person on Twitter named that who said he was real, I think a lot of ppl assumed he wrote the song and dropped it but that dude wasn't even a songwriter lol and I don't think he claimed to be.

 

I still think she might be pregnant.
