Diary is a killer song though. I still rock DED EP. It starts off so well with When I Was Young, then Dogs Eating Dogs, and then it all goes downhill after that. I think combining the stronger songs of both Neighborhoods and DED into a 11 song album with a producer would have been killer.

I am very happy with California. I want to see how it holds up in a couple of months. I also want to know more about this blink EP we are supposedly getting this winter.

 

I don't like a single song on DED. I think that was the point at which I knew I wasn't gonna like this band at all while Tom was still in it.

 

It will come out the same day as a new AVA EP.

 

I liked Dogs Eating Dogs everything else was just crappy AVA bsides.

 

I really liked Pretty Little Girl (after I edited Yelawolf out) and Disaster off DED

 

By the way - random thought while listening to California today. They sure do use "the floor" in their lyrics a lot throughout the album:

She's Out of Her Mind: "Take your eyes off the floor" and "threw herself on the floor"

No Future: "Slips beneath the floor" and "sleeping on the floor"

Rabbit Hole: "Dreaming down on the floor"

San Diego: "Abandoned love songs smashed across the hard wood floor"

 

Bad move of the day: Trying to talk sense into people leaving "this isn't blink" or "not the same without Tom" posts on a Facebook post blink puts up.
