Bray isn’t ruined but Seth is pretty screwed. That’s a hard night to come back from. Being completely booed and part of a really bad main event, as the top baby face, that’s rough.

 

I honestly don’t see how this damages the Fiend that much. Yeah, the referee stopped it. But that’s because he was looking at the Fiend as if he was a real person. And the way the WWE have booked him, he is anything but that. Hell, even when Seth was hitting him with chairs, ladders and a tool box, he still barely moved apart from kicking out. That’s a horror monster movie trope right there and the way the Fiend has been portrayed, he is definitely seen as a monster. I’m still very intrigued where they go with this.

Honestly, the thing I’m most annoyed about yesterday was Sasha and Bayley not winning. Haven’t watch Bayley/Charlotte yet, but Sasha/Becky was easily match of the night. The only downside being Sasha not winning.

The rest of the show was almost like a quite good Raw. Asuka and Kairi Sane being champs is good too! Asuka using the mist popped me good. Forgot how good they both are. Maybe they’ll be the ones that finally defend them in NXT now it’s live.

 

I like some of AEW and am definitely watching it, I’m just tired of all the comparisons already. But I’ll happily admit that it’s more than just here that I’m seeing it. Makes me glad there wasn’t so much social media in the WWF/WCW days haha

after seeing all the criticisms online, i was scared that Seth beat Bray clean or something. No contest sucks, especially a DQ in hell in a cell. that IS bullshit. but it's not the worst thing that could've happened (pretty low bar standard for WWE to meet haha)

That was a really okay episode of Sunday Night Raw though. Is the WWE just forgetting about PPVs now? They did the same for summerslam and now HIAC.

How anyone can defend last nights show beyond the first 2 matches is beyond me. Have our expectations been set so low that we longer give a shit when WWE puts on a shitty show? And I don't even have to compare WWE to AEW. It was one of the shittiest, poorly thought out main events in the last 15 years if not ever lol
