That was my takeaway from the photos as well. I'm glad I'm not the only one.

 

I had high hopes seeing these guys when they opened for Coheed in this year and they totally killed it. Hopefully down the line at some point I'll get to see them headline, would love to see them with a crowd that's super into it

 

Getting really impatient for some news now. So impatient I'm even watching live videos where Daryl sounds like crap just to curb off my need for the new album.

Just from past experience, I knew not to get my hopes up. I still think we might get something by the end of the year though.

 

I would love for someone to ask Daryl Palumbo why he enjoys announcing albums only for them never to see the light of day

When they released the new song at the beginning of the year.

 

confirming a new album is in the works is really not "announcing" or promising anything, so to get pissed and call "bullshit" or whatever is pretty silly. especially silly to think its something he is doing for enjoyment. you guys are acting like he said its definitely done, gave a title, a rough release date, etc. should go without saying releasing an album is not exactly an easy thing to do.

Oh come on. He's done the same thing with numerous projects now. It's not like this is the first time.
