PS4 has a free anniversary theme that plays the PS1 music already!

 

wii looks like a generic brand suv mount dvd player

gamecube is an abomination, at the very least much too tall for the average 2000s entertainment center

 

what happened to Sony post ps2

they fully embraced the louvers, vents, & doodads aesthetic like theyre a generic and shitty 80s architecture firm not building computers. at least with the ps2 it was endearing and little more understated, maybe the times were just simpler. ps4 is actually pretty good but ps4 pro is fugly, especially in person.

 

The GameCube was cool stfu

The Wii got so many design accolades, it was pretty advanced in the context video game hardware

 

Also the woodgrain Atari 2600 is really cool

 

wii is small and unassuming for sure and I like that a lot, the bar is low

 

ive never seen a ps4 theme in the store that i actually liked. i end up just using the default.

the one i have is a screenshot of sekiro with the dragon. love that part

 

The new free last of us theme is nice. So is the burning car one. Everyone raves about the fire watch theme that dynamically changes with the time of day. There’s loads of cool ones, just have to find them!

 

I’ve been using this theme for about four or five years and I can’t imagine using anything else. The song is just too good, I have a lot of nostalgia for it at this point

 

I’ve been using the 20th anniversary theme, gotta love the classic PS1 sounds

 

I think the best designed console was the Phantom.
