So, apparently the NJPW show tonight was sabotaged. Like, someone called the ambulance company telling them that the show was cancelled, so they just didn't show up. Thus leading to scrambling to get an ambulance on site in order to start the show

Biggest pops of the night were for Okada taking his pants off and a Tiger Hattori run in.

Have they announced any of the matches for the AEW debut show?

 

Apparently Sasha likes being in WWE so much now that she extended her stay

 

I loved most of what AEW showed so far, but they really need to work on their youtube presence and on their builts to things. I think building with one or two videos a week to your tv start is just not enough at all.

 

God I can't wait for Monday.

Finally watched All Out over the weekend and it was... fine? Not as good as DoN. Pac/Omega seemed off, I didn't really get into the AAA tag title match. The Cracker Barrel death match or whatever was a bit much for me.

Just a weird choice by WWE to premiere their biggest show, probably ever (certainly in terms of money and being on network TV), when its the go-home show 2 days before a PPV.

Imagine rolling into the "premieres" of their new shows; on RAW, the Fiend and Sasha are your new champions atop the brand after their HIAC wins. On Smackdown, Kofi has survived a grueling match w/ Randy, chest taped, as Lesnar's music hits to start the show announcing his title shot that night. Meanwhile, D-Bry, fresh off turning on Roman, is in the building to explain why.

There's no reason to watch RAW tonight aside from the fact that Steelers/Bengals on MNF is gonna be god awful to watch. And there's barely a reason to watch SD since there's a good chance anything that happens gets repeated 2 days later

I mean, that should also be pushed back a week, but mostly in hopes they realize before its too late that nobody wants to see Ronda's personal life and they should cancel the whole thing. Or just make it about Rusev again

 

It's too much. That's really all I can say about this week and every other week going forward. I hate this current configuration of the wwe having 3 brands.

I am very excited for aew though, mostly because its one show. 2 hours... I can handle that
