chat started off with the usual "wahh where is tom" stuff but they were all praising the band at the end. funny that a surprising amount of people knew "darkside" and had no idea what was going on during "family reunion".

they're more than capable of bringing in new fans, and i don't think they'll be too fussed about "tainting their legacy" if they do.

I was at the TwitchCon set. They sounded awesome. The set was short, and they only played Darkside, but they sounded way better than any of the sets I saw from the EOTS videos. Matt had the crowd getting hyped, and Mark’s banter was very funny in context to the audience.

It was cool to see people singing along to the California songs, and Darkside. They had the whole bottom tier stadium seats open so it was pretty easy to walk right up to the front.

 

Mark's voice has been quite good this whole tour cycle

Okay I think I might be a bit late to this one and I actually haven't read through to see how anyone has been feeling about the new record but I want to just say that I am surprised at how much I am loving it. It is far superior to the last record. I love the experimentation they did too, it works!

I think Ransom could’ve worked. Although I like Nine as the title.

 

"Neon Light", from Darkside. But I actually think that "Dark Light" or "Black Light" would be the perfect title for this album.

 

Someone else already said this, but if they had to pick a song title as an album title Generational Divide would have worked fine.

 

I like that blink never names albums after songs or lyrics.

Black Light (or all one word as Blacklight) would have been cool.

This Twitch performance I think it’s the best Mark has sounded in years.

They should retire Family Reunion.

 

Only watched the Feeling This twitch performance and it just reminded of 2003-2004 blink. Mark sounded great on it.

Also, Mark’s shirt is the shit. I need to buy it. Lol

I don’t get it. It’s a really old song that was never a single. So Mark shouldn’t want to play it.
