Really enjoying the new album, but the track listing is off. Doesn’t feel like it flows very well

 

I didn't know that, but I am pretty certain I read it will be from the St. Paul show. The performance started off and ended very rough, so I'm curious to see how much they will have corrected it.

 

If they ever offer a signed vinyl of this, it'll be the quickest I ever bought something

 

Oh my god that opening part is hilarious.

 

a few weeks ago mark and matt did an interview and she asked their favourite lyrics on the album and mark said something about "_______ and coffee" but i read all the lyrics for the album and there's nothing like it on there so either he was joking or it was on a song for the next ep. does anyone remember?

Does anyone else think the second half of this album is way stronger than the first? I keep finding myself starting at Run Away and letting it play from there.

Heaven is pretty good tho, I'm not totally crazy about the chorus though? Idk!

 

can anyone make out what Mark says at the end?

“I keep mixing lexapro and coffee, it isn’t working.”

Definitely didn’t end up on the album, so we’ll see about the EP.

Or maybe it’s from the Japanese bonus track, Out of My Head.

I love ransom too. Haven’t seen much love for it here

 

Ransom is a bop, and one of the best songs on the album. I think it is sort of a good from the darker songs to the more hopeful ones.

So it was like 50 pages back somewhere, but now that I’ve listened, what’s the song from the video interview that Mark/Matt said was the hardest to record? I remember them saying there was one song with too many cooks in the kitchen or something?

 

I assume it’s like 6/8 and California where they spoke early and ended up removing the song
