that’s perfect to me. That’s something Discovery did well.

I still need to watch Discovery. Been holding off signing up for *another* streaming service. But if this turns out to be as good as the trailer makes it out to be, I'll definitely need to sign up.

Just use the free trial and watch it all before the trial is over, then cancel

Honestly there are so many good episodes in seasons 3-6 that's its hard to justify skipping much of that era

And my wife thought my reaction to the Top Gun: Maverick trailer was over the top. She’s pretty much used to it at this point, but the “HOLY SHIT SEVEN OF NINE!!!!!!!!!!!!” caught her off guard this afternoon. And then Data at the end. I feel like they’ve learned major lessons from the second season of Discovery and understand that just the right hints of nostalgia and fan service goes a long way.

My fiancé and I went to a bar for Star Trek trivia and were in first place, but lost when we bet all our points in the final jeopardy question. Anyway, we found this ST themed drink menu funny lol

Can you share the Final Jeopardy question / your answer...??? The drink menu is awesome - I would love to bring my father there.

    What does NCC stand for?

We got almost all the questions right. Six rounds and ten questions each. It was a lotta fun.

Been on a(nother) run through TNG and it's nuts how much better it gets the second season 2 starts.

This is terrible. Nog’s character arc is one of my all-time favorites. The actor frequented the ST shitposting group I’m in on FB and is the coolest guy.

    Remembering Aron Eisenberg, 1969-2019

yeah it's very sad and unexpected. Just 50.

Deep Space 9 is my favorite tv show ever, and his performance of Nog was certainly a big part of it. The Nog and Jake episodes often added levity/comic relief.

Very sad. I can only imagine living life with the kidney issues he did.

Anyone else think Lwaxana Troi is the worst reoccurring TNG character? For me, her episodes are the worst ones from season 3 onward and I couldn't care less about her finding a husband and being weirdly naked in a mud bath with a Klingon child antics.

There were so many more interesting, less one dimensional characters that I would have rather seen every season instead of her.

Those were my thoughts at first, but she grew on me.

yeah losing Rene =[. Loved him as the Odo character, probably 1 of my 2 favorite characters on my favorite show.

Also great in Benson, Boston Legal and MASH among others.

I would be very interested in this.

I love the cast and would welcome one more really solid Trek film with them.
