Still waiting on my shipping confirmation for my midnight green 11 pro Max. There was a payment issue with Apple Pay through Verizon and I received an email about it but I thought it was fraud and it wasn’t. Hoping I can still get it tomorrow

 

The refreshed Reminders App is maybe my favourite update. Love dark mode Apple Music as well - will probably have my device rotate between light/dark on auto.

My iPhone 11 Pro also went from "pick up by the 10th" to a pick up at 11:30 tomorrow. Good day!

 

I haven't turned dark mode off since the beta and probably never will. I like the way it make Apple Music look in particular.

 

I have it set to auto for sunrise/sunset.

 

This update is lovely. Dark Mode is A+

 

Yeah it took me like 15-20 minutes.

Mini Motorways and What The Golf? are my favorite Arcade games so far and I think these two alone will keep my subscribed for a while.

iOS 13 is making me really wish I had Chorus.fm dark mode again.

 

So if a contact updates their iMessage profile does it override what you have saved for them? Going to be hard getting used to different profile pictures

 

Phones are at least in state (MA) now... soon.

 

I think you get a notification at the top saying they changed their picture, but it asks if you want to update it rather than automatically doing so. That's how it worked early in the beta for the couple of people in my contacts also on the beta.

I’m excited to see how the new iMessage features shake out with iOS 13. Will I no longer have grey initials in my app? Well I guess maybe for the people who use android

 

I will never turn dark mode off.

 

10 seconds in this phone is already fucking gross. The matte finish is awful. Feels like my hands are dirty.

 

Picked mine up a couple of hours ago, the queue was huge, way more people than last year and way beyond what I was expecting. Clearly the iPhone 11 has struck a chord with people, though there were a lot buying the Pro as well. For some reason the iCloud transfer was a lot smoother with iOS 13, only took about an hour when usually I’d be fumbling around with everything for half a day. The iCloud Keychain makes logging back in to every third party app so seamless.
It’s really nice having a small phone that comfortably fits in my hand again, hopefully I remember this before I’m ever tempted to buy a ‘Max’ again.

One word of caution to anyone considering the Apple clear case, if you have non-sweaty hands it is REALLY slippery, like holding an ice cube slippery. I definitely recommend trying it before you buy because this is not useable at all for me and I’m going to have to look for another alternative.
