most of their artwork is bad imo. i love clarity but the cover is fucking awful lol

I actually have always thought of JEW as having really great album art consistently. The only one I even think is just so-so would be Invented.

 

their album covers are generally fantastic. the designer in me has issues with the layout of text and the drop-shadow on the chase this light cover but also who gives a fuck. damage is the weakest cover but i like it, it's cute

 

love the Clarity cover n i love how much 90's american emo bands imitated 80's/90's brit pop aesethics

If it didn’t leak by now I don’t think it even got sent to anyone in advance ?

Well it's almost midnight my time but my (best) theory is they premiere a new song on Sunday on the BBC Radio 1 Rock Show in the UK like they did with Get Right and announce everything on Monday. Did it for Integrity Blues with Get Right, though they were a little while off announcing the album at that point.

Either something like that or they announce tomorrow, meaning a new song hits streaming services midnight local time.

 

Were they in the UK at the time of the Get Right release? I don't recall if it was just the song premiere or an interview. Maybe if it's an interview they could have prerecorded it a couple of weeks ago?

My bet is Monday.

 

Single is definitely, 100%, without a doubt, guaranteed, coming out at midnight.

I'd skip Blink-182 day too for an announcement, too much overlap. Look for next week.

Yeah it's very likely Monday for an album announce now. New song gets a radio debut Sunday night is my guess.

I mean, we know when the album is coming out. I’m not really that concerned about the single.

More concerned about being able to pre-order and get that sweet, sweet vinyl.

 

Yeah honestly, I don’t need a single that much. Tons of other bands coming that month and I’d love a full brand new jimmy experience.

 

This short rollout means it'll be easier for me to go in blind without over listening to any singles, with that being said, I'll see this thread in a month!
