From what I remember of the Aftermath series, Palpatine had what remained for f the Empire’s fleet go off to the unknown regions. I figured that’s where the first order was from, but maybe this was a hidden fleet?

 

re: kylo redemption

Personally, i don’t want to see it.

However, given that i’ve either liked or loved every SW film that disney has put out, i’ve decided that i’m going into this with a “i trust JJ/them to know whats right, and what is good for the story and saga finish”. If thats the route they take, i’ll at least have an open mind while it’s happening.

I thought that the appearance/confirmation of Knights of Ren would have solidified bad kylo all the way but then i thought what if they turned it and the KoR turned out to be quasi-good, but then i thought they already sorta did that with enfys nest in solo so even that would feel like its already been done.

My feeling is kylo stays bad and dies a bad guys death.

 

My favorite part of TFA was when Han was falling down off the bridge and said, "Please if anyone can hear me please kill my son for me."

 

I think it’s entirely possible that Kylo breaks from the First Order in this and remains bad.

 

Yet it would be very Star Wars to do so. It’s like poetry, they rhyme.

 

I only caught that at home with the subtitles.

So I just listened to somebody explain a clone theory and honestly...I didn’t hate it the way it was explained. In fact I really liked it lol

Not expecting it still but damn I feel like I’ve been turned to the dark side that I’m on board and think it could fit and combine a lot of puzzle pieces if handled well.

I too like that idea because it could play nicely into Rey following a path of her own and finding a happy medium (i.e. the Gray Jedi). She sees how easily she could be in Kylo’s place, understands how deeply wounded he was and how his emotions were used to manipulate him while also coming to the realization that past Jedi have demonstrated a lack of that same understanding thereby defining things in stark black and white terms.

Just feel like there's no way Dark Rey in the teaser isnt misdirection, it was very obviously put there at the very end to raise and spark theory and discussion (which worked, duh) - i'm trying real hard not to think too into it or get myself pinned down on one theory

They only made Dark Rey with the double bladed saber to obviously get people to buy the toy versions of that saber. I can see a black series one happening.
