I do not want a Kylo Ren redemption story

 

Dark Rey feels very “luke in the cave”

 

I was super against it after TFA but I’ve come around on the idea of Kylo being redeemed. He’s done nothing but struggle with the light and the dark since he was introduced. I also really like him.

 

And no red arm! Haven't seen anyone talk about that yet.

Apparently he goes full Rambo with Chewies Bow-Caster due to a bad upload or something along those lines.

He is a perfect angel who's never done anything wrong.

That sounds very prequel-esque to me, no thanks.

Also, is R2 even a part of this trilogy anymore? They've done my boy dirty so far, not sure why 3PO has been getting all the limelight instead.

 

Ahhh yes the classic theme of Star Wars. Punish those who have made a misstep in life and don't try to save them from themselves.

 

It does a bit - if it works though, I don’t mind. However, I hate 3P0.. so I’d rather more R2.

 

C3PO got that triple zero programming. Gonna murder everyone.
Also, More mini death star tech haha. There was some sort of super weapon or something going on in there.

 

Who can forget when Luke Skywalker killed Darth Vader and said, "You've already done too many horrible things and there's no way we can redeem you?"

 

I could see that being a part of a Star Destroyer at this point.

 

R2 had a great scene in TLJ, but yea he's been missing. I really want more interaction between him and BB-8. But BB's got a new friend.

 

Could be a call back to Han's line in ANH when he says it would take the firepower of 1000 star destroyers to destroy a planet or something.

 

I get the R2 disappointment but little guys had 6 movies and a tv show where he’s had a heavy role. Too many characters to bend over backwards for them to get their moment.

 

He's a mass murderer. Committed genocide. We already redeemed one of those.

 

I guess we'll see. That's the exciting part of all of this. I just don't see them deviating from the entire message of Star Wars to put Kylo in his place. My sweet babie Ben will have redemption. And Kylo was against Starkiller, that was Hux's thing.

 

The thought all 3 trilogies being tied together and ending a story that arches over 9 films is so overwhelming. This is definitely gonna be a long movie.

 

Gimme a three-hour Star Wars movie. I'll fuck with it.
