As if getting serious or "mature" for the Untitled era erased the fact that their legacy includes a song about fucking a dog in the ass

 

Their songs about blow jobs and grandpa shitting his pants were fun songs to listen to

Dude I get it. This is one of your favorite bands. But to make fun of something else and not admit that this is at best just ok and at worst terrible is just showing your bias about not criticizing them.

 

I didn’t say anything about this song... I commented on someone saying “Tom is laughing” by pointing out Tom having zero reason to be laughing at anything given what he just released.

That said: the mashups fine. The histrionics are ridiculous.

 

If he thought this was at best just ok why would he criticize it? Or maybe he just doesn't take it that seriously? Ya know, as most people should?

 

I remember the response to Enema being fairly good...was it not? I was a new fan at the time, so I could be jaded.

Though this track is really not good, it's also not indicative of anything.

It isn’t, but I can see how some idiots would label STFTK that way, especially back then.

Those complaints in the note he posted are just things he’s heard people say about their records, not things he came up with himself.

 

People are way too concerned about legacy, particularly legacies that aren't their own.

 

This doesn’t taint their legacy at all, but working with xxx sure does
