Am I the only one who finds the guys with the Hindu books rude. Every year they ask if you want a free book and hound you to donate. I did it one year to get him to leave me alone, on my first year. Now I just tell them no when they come my way.

 

Anyone have today's schedule

 

How has Cane Hills crowd been? I have really gotten into them recently. They are like a crazy Slipknot/Korn hybrid

 

I fell for this in 2002, it was a very nice older Indian lady who told me she was giving me a ticket (as in a fine) for not having fun. This was in the parking lot. I gave her $5 and took the books. The following year I told one of the guys doing it that it wasn't right to hand someone something and then expect them to give you money since most things at the Warped Tour are free when someone gives it to you. He told me that nothing is free in this world. I said "what about the air? the sky? the sun? You of all people should understand THAT." And he kinda stared at me like he wanted to fight me.

This year they were trying the "Hey, I like your shirt" line and then he asked me where I got it. Then after he pulled the books out I said "no thank you" and he rolled his eyes at me. Another guy tried the same "Nice shirt" bit later and then asked me where I was from. I just said Orlando and kept walking.

What was more annoying was the guy outside the Orlando venue this year who handed me a CD I didn't want then said "let me do you a favor and sign that for you" like he was some huge fucking celebrity and secondly every CD he had was already signed. THEN he asked me for a donation. I told him I only had large bills, handed it back to him and left.

 

Yeah one this year said nice shirt and asked where I got it from. So my bro said I only have cash, so he said we take credit cards.My brother gave him a buck to shut him up. The guy was like " How much did you tip me" my brother told him nothing. So the guy wanted two of the three books back. We took the one book and threw it away. We told him we had to get to a meet and greet and he would not shut up.

The first year I went one told me Kevin in ivites them on tour. Don't know if I believe that. I saw one dude get dropped off by his mom with used his yoga and whatever books.

I find it funny that the Christian tent (I am Second) nor the tent with 666 and occult symbola(Blackcraft) Neiter of those tents harass you. While a group who tries to give relaxation and books about peace are so rude. Why give a book about peace if your gonna be rude.

Wow, I find it amazing they have been doing it since 2002.

 

Va beach was a mess. Best warped day ever. Excited to shar my setlists and experiences from both charlotte and va beach.

 

Do you have the schedule from today by chance? Haven't been able to find one all day.

I hear ya. 95% of the time, I'm the nicest person to anyone that comes up to me at Warped or any concert for that matter, but they are the total exception, and I don't even acknowledge them anymore.

 

Issues dedicated "Blue Wall" to Alton Sterling today during their set.
