Well shit, I’m definitely in now.

 

I still need to watch the first movie, damn, I don't know what's taken me so long

 

Oh wow it's on Hulu which I feel like never has any good movies. Solid, good to know.

 

Had a free weekend of Epix and DVR'd A Quiet Place. Watched it last night and really enjoyed it. The suspense was great - especially considering there was virtually no dialogue at all (I didn't really know that going in...obviously knew it'd be quiet). Didn't find it really scary at all, more so just suspenseful, which is preferable anyway.

I definitely got emotional several times between the loss of their son and the friction/redemption of the father and daughter. Wish we could have gotten more of that dynamic - although it was such a short film.

Had no idea there was a sequel coming until I read this thread.

The sequel has been filming around the Buffalo area where I’m from, lots of John sightings, pretty much the most exciting thing to happen here in awhile lol

 

Good old Akron, NY, where really nothing good happens at all, haha.

Got excited reading the beginning of that headline then sad when I got to the end.

 

Same, that headline gave me a whirlwind of emotions.
