I can’t seem to find the one for Good Morning Fire Eater but it’s out there somewhere. I also can’t imagine anyone enjoying this other than my friends cause it’s so stupid so I’m curious what Marsh will say

But for me, as stupid as they are, I cherish them as this guy I made em with is my best friend from high school and the only person I keep in contact with form high school and bands like Copeland have been a big through line in our friendship

The bridge of Suddenly is my favorite musical part of 2019 so far.

After several months, it gets me every time.

 

I really don't see anything toping this for my AOTY, well unless that Julien Baker record drops of course haha.

 

Still one of my favorites of the year and makes an excellent pairing with the new Noah Gundersen.

 

I never gave this a solid listen because I honestly wasn’t in the mood or the headspace for it. Now that I’ve dove headfirst into the pop realm, I have a harder time coming back to some of my old favorites. It’s just too melancholy and slow for me. It’s beautiful, for sure, but I always feel drawn to other stuff now. :/

 

I think this album will sit better again in the fall and winter

 

Yeah, I liked this at first, but I revisited it a month ago and it's been on repeat since. Probably my favorite Copeland.

I’m not gonna lie, I’ve had a really hard time getting into this album. I don’t dislike it but I’ve given it so many listens and it still has never clicked

 

It's my fav album of the year but I don't love it quite as much as most Copeland albums.

 

still loving it. i maybe love Ixora a little more.... but im not sure. i love putting that pink vinyl on my record player

 

Ixora edges it slightly but not a bad thing, Ixora is one of my favorite all time records haha

I think Ixora is considerably stronger than this album

 

I think the run from In Motion to this are all in that high 8 to high 9 range.

 

This has firmly supplanted ixora for me. Still think disjointed and erase are the best 2 songs across either but blushing’s more consistent.

 

Yeah I think this is vastly superior to ixora which I adore too
