Drake and blink in the same sentence reminds me of that atrocious "hotline blink" mashup ugh lol.

 

I never saw that was it worse then when that one dude sampled dammit in a rap song?

 

After letting the album sink in, I have a three way tie between Left Alone, San Diego and Los Angeles for my favorite track on the album. Even though I do like Sober, and find myself singing it I find it to be my least favorite song on the album putting the joke songs aside.

 

Yeah this album gets better with each listen.

Los Angeles. Dang man.

 

Also, my girlfriends six year old son loves the album. He started to sing along to Sober, San Diego and Los Angeles. Oh, he also keeps telling me to repeatadly put on Built This Pool lol.

 

It was the vocals to Adam's Song I believe over the Hotline Bling music. For God sakes, do not look it up. Don't watch it. Haha

 

I've listened to this album so many times. I cannot narrow my favorite song down. I can't. It's impossible.

Cynical, Los Angeles, Sober, Kings of the Weekend, San Diego AAARRTHGHJGHH. They're all so fucking GOOD!

But hey, that's a great problem to have. Lol Every blink album previously, I've had immediate favorites. This one I am so torn. Must be a sign of a damn good album. Hey, here's to you Califor-ni-ahhh.

 

It seemed fitting for a song about suicide to be accompanied by a video of Drake dancing like a jackass.

 

is anyone else still looking at a "shipping soon" screen on KingsRoad for their pre-order? I got one with the signed drumhead even, and still waiting on shipment :( pretty disappointed.

I think it's safe to say that California will be my go to album for the rest of the summer.

 

Very good song, idk if it's me but o kind of get a linkin park vibe from it lol. Not that I mind that. It's about my 4th or 5th picked on the album

I know we've touched on this before, but my respect for him would drastically change if he were to acknowledge the release and congratulate the blink guys. Hell, even if it weren't fully genuine it would most likely benefit him regardless.

 

Completely agreed. Acting like it doesn't exist while posting AVA preorders and dolphin videos almost seems disrespectful. But I've learned this is just how Tom is now. If it doesn't benefit him or his image, he has no use for it.
