Memories are nice, but that's all they are. Prestigious

    Which is super fucked

And also not true, there are bands that do actually give a shit about how awful he is

Sadly, that is true. Barely any bands even care anymore. The Wonder Years dropped him as their TM back when his shit first began but JJR and a member of TWY still live together so there's that

It’s funny how Sleep On It is headlining the Bottom Lounge in a little over a week but is opening the same venue on this tour. I don’t really understand that other than Sleep On It really isn’t big enough to play the Bottom Lounge and they overestimated their popularity.

A similar thing happened this year with Movements, i think. They opened for TSSF at The Metro and a few months later they headlined it. Or maybe it was the other way around.

  10. To be fair, Movements blew up way more than Sleep On It did.

That was them opening the tour, then getting more popular and headlining the same venue months later. This is the opposite. A band headlining a venue and months later opening a tour at the same venue.

The main difference is after opening for a sold out TSSF show, Movements came back and also sold out The Metro. Sleep On It has to be banking on hometown association because they're playing way smaller venues in every other city on that tour.

  13. That TSSF show was also kind of an underplay and they did two nights. Bet Movements couldn't sell out a second night, or at least not as quickly.

No one is disputing that they probably couldn’t sell out a second night (that’s a hypothetical question), I was just saying that it’s interesting for a band to headline a venue (that they likely won’t sell out) and then be the opener for the same venue months later. I’ve never seen a band headline a venue then come back and open the same venue before, unless it’s just one of the members performing or a side project.

  16. Oh yeah no worries I agree with you 100%.

Come to think of it, TSSF did that. Sold out Starland Ballroom in NJ in 2015, came back in 2016 supporting Good Charlotte.

Think they’ll play in Mass? They played Boston on both legs so I’m hoping for maybe a New Hampshire date

This tour is probably going to be b-market so itll make sense

Movements probably could if it was a package like the last tour, but to be honest it would probably be lots of the same people going to both
