If you like Lacey, then yea I guess you feel that way. The alternative is you're wasting the hottest person in the company on somebody who can't even go for 10 minutes. I've also talked about this in the other thread but Shayna's 2nd title reign is awful and her booking is killing the NxT women's division. Kairi and Asuka should also be feuding with the IIconics instead of doing absolutely nothing. Instead the tag champs are just used as a vehicle in the Lacey/Becky feud (and losing all the time).

I applaud them for giving Charlotte a break, and for potentially doing a good mid-card Sonya/Mandy storyline. I would also put Alexa/Nikki there but they're going to take the tag belts before their eventual feud, which is an oof.

 

Personally I think the gimmick absolutely sucked. It was just as bad to me as Kofi's "I hate country music and that's not my character talking." It's a very fine line to walk before you're breaking the 4th wall without serving any purpose other than to get attention.

 

it's still a lot of stuff happening within the division though. We can go back and forth on which ones are good and bad, theyre all storylines with SOME sort of direction. For the womens division, that's a major success. Yes we should get more with Kairi/Asuka/Paige, but there's time for that.

Credible champions + mid card storylines... that's very unusual for this company.

And for those who don't like Lacey, after this feud, who would you want to see Becky feud with next?

 

I feel like the feud with Lacey is a waste of time and killing the belt. Going from feuding with Rhonda to feuding with someone who can't go at all in the ring makes Becky look bad. Also womens tag titles are a joke. I will agree with Bayley being credible, but they killed her character for so long that I don't care as much as I should.

 

Literally anyone other than Lacey lol Seriously though Shayna would be the best choice. She needs to be brought up and I think playing off the Rhonda feud would be a potentially amazing program.

 

For sure, and his Brock stuff has been played out, but if you give him nothing to work with...

Heyman was at one point writing Alexa's stuff, so Im curious if this Nikki/Alexa angle is him.

This however, has classic Vince written all over it. I hope Im wrong and it ends up somewhere tasteful

I feel like this about nearly every champion right now and whoever they "feuding" with.

What they are doing with the womens tag belts is pretty much offensive to women and the women's division at this point.

 

Yep Kofi and Joe is the only potential feud over a title right now that has any legs in my opinion.

 

I couldn’t agree more, with literally every word. Never saw the appeal in Lacey, and Shayna’s reign is stale. Wish she dropped it at Takeover 25, that ending was annoying.
