Ordered that real quick. No shipping or tax was nice. Did it say anywhere when it ships?

 

the bundles say 9/28.

 

it's not crazy unreasonable, but that dance gavin dance box set a few years back with 6 records was about half this price, i think.

that said, this looks beautiful and i preordered with the blue shirt. really hoping i get one of those 7" singles as a free item (i'm just assuming i'm in the first 200 haha).

I can't tell you have much money I have spent on this band since they announced their break up.

- one final tour ticket
- 3-4 t-shirts

The first 200 are sold out already?! Dang!

 

I thought the dance Gavin dance one was $50. outrageously good price haha

 

How do you know whether or not you got a 7" singles?

 

DGD isn't quite as "artsy" as Anberlin though, so they likely didn't put quite as much extra work into the packaging etc. Not that that's necessarily work like triple the price. Regardless, I totally bought this bad boy. #Anberlin4Lyfe.

I'm personally hoping for the coffee cup / a shirt would be cool.

 

Oh man, I want this...I don't know if I can afford to drop 165 on this. Ughhhhh.

-And 3-4 t-shirts. Don't really remember exactly how many of the shirts I bought haha.

The designer for the box posted this over on vinyl collective.

"Hey Guys - Jordan here. I designed the Anberlin boxset. Just wanted to let you know no corners were cut here. They do in fact come in sleeves and jackets. The jackets are single jackets on uncoated stock, with a diecut hole that reveals a gloss metellic gold sleeve inside. Both are very thick stock with black ink inside. No expense was spared, and no surface went unprinted with a super tight attention to detail. This thing is VERY heavy. You'll dig it if you're a collector."

 

I got a poster for the Chicago show too! Forgot about that.

 

yeah, i'm definitely not doubting the quality of this, or that i'll be extremely excited when it arrives. the dance gavin dance box set is actually pretty nice, but you're right that it is straightforward (no new art/not very fancy). i was just hoping this might've been a little easier on fans' wallets.

 

i think it's just when it arrives. the site said the first 200 preorders would get at least one item.

 

I didn't even notice the free item til you mentioned it. I was refreshing the store site about 5 minutes before 8am PST and saw the set pop up. So i'm hoping I made it in that first 200.

There aren't many bands i'd do this for, so it's well worth it and i'm more than happy for the band to reap the benefits.

Stop making me sad that I missed out on that DGD box set, I'm still salty.

 

I feel it too, bud. I hadn't gotten into vinyl yet and once I did, I realized what an opportunity it was.

 

I have really been trying to curb my spending on vinyl, but this was a must.

 

Yeah, I missed it because I had to cancel my card for some dumb reason. I at least got Death Star and DBM1 on their own, which were my two essentials, so I'll be ok until I dig up Happiness, the EP, and DBM2

 

i just ordered the hell out of this. if i had known about the first 200 thing i'd have been all over this, but alas, i'm more than perfectly happy with the boxset and shirt. so. freaking. excited.

 

Yeah this wasn't a difficult decision to make. I ordered it immediately despite the price point (which is certainly reasonable, but a bit much for me right now). That's what credit cards are for, right?? Hehe....
