Bernie/Harris has the same regional problem that Booker or Gillibrand has. Yeah Harris isn't from the NE but she is from a strongly democratic state.

He could pick Castro and would probably work fine. If he's picking a woman though I just feel Gillibrand is the best choice. Make Warren Secretary of Treasury no matter what.

She’s strong on social issues, and for a candidate like Bernie who dedicates much his campaign to economic issues, it would make the ticket a good balance of focus. She’s also def more progressive and Booker or Harris I would say.

Bernie / Stacey. I know she works for CAP, but he did endorse her in her primary and she’s closer to him on policy than Harris. Sets up a redemption narrative after having the governor’s race stolen and turns voting rights and turnout into a central issue of their campaign.

Rashida Tliab, Pramila Jayapal, Ilhan Omar would all be interesting picks, but it’s a big jump for them. But i think they all help further sell his campaign as a transformative moment in American politics and help with energizing the base.

There was a time when I would have said Keith Ellison was an ideal running mate for him, but unless something happened absolving him of those domestic violence claims, fuck that. And if Andrew Gillum had won, he’d also be at the top of my list.

Don't believe Jayapal can be VP. She isn't a natural born citizen.:-/

Is there any big red flag for Castro? If not then of the current candidates I feel like he'd be the best running mate for Bernie. Young, Latino, from Texas, no huge blemish on his record, on the left side of the Dems but still presumably "establishment" or whatever, not some huge personality that would risk stealing the spotlight

Delaney's voice is literally identical to Jimmy Kimmel's, he started speaking off-camera once and I legit thought it was him for a split second
