My LP shipped today from the UK and my cassette has yet to ship from KRM so it'll be awhile until i get a physical copy. But this bonus track is amazing.

 

I'm really impressed with this. Skiba has totally won me over. I never thought that a blink album in 2016 would end up being one of my favourite albums of the year! Will almost definitely make it into my top 30

 

I would love if for their next album they did it in contrast to California, making it really dark. I'd love to hear Mark bring in his love for the Cure and id love to see Matt write some dark ass lyrics.

 

Apparently the first batch of songs they wrote together before meeting up with Feldmann were like this. We might see some of that with the EP they're talking about releasing.

I have to keep listening to this but I honestly think this is the best Blink album. I listened to TOYPAJ, Chershire Cat, Untitled, and a bunch of others at least 3 times each and I'm enjoying most of the songs from this album.

Nice, San Diego and teenage satellites are my early favourites. I love the choruses in both.

 

Yeeks, Hey I'm Sorry is awesome ... on first listen, kinda prefer it to a lot of the other tracks, and 'directionally' feels more like the route I thought they'd take. And yeh, would have worked as a good bookend to Cynical (What's the point in saying sorry now?).

 

Maybe I just want to love skiba a lot

 

Not true th0o0o0o because (unpopular opinion) I always thought AVA was better than Blink (lol unpopular = absolutely fucking wrong but I really don't care because "feeling This" will be the best song blink-182 will ever write) = love

And now that it's over...I've never been sober....couldn't believe....now I'm so highhhhhhhh (I wear hearing aids so this is my reality)

I'm excited to talk to you guys tomorrow. I honestly think this album's great, the slow songs don't drag down the album as much as the other albums, and the pacing is much better. Also, Matt is a great fit for the band!

 

I FINALLY listened to the album. So many thoughts are flooding in my head, but I'll make this as short as possible.

Blink are back. This is a new blink, but familiar. Neighborhoods felt like black and white, this felt like color. I could see and feel so much more in the music.

I'm glad I waited, and I'm glad it was worth the wait. I fucking love this band.

Oh, and Skiba? Well done, sir. I would say it's damn near impossible to replace an iconic member of blink, but you pulled it off with absolute ease.

Jason Tate said it best. Long live the Skiba era!

 

I don't think there's a single thing on this album that I don't like. Super good.

The album is SO FUCKING AMAZING.

I could spell out my favorites, but I have a feeling I would just be naming the track listing. Some huge stand outs for me are Cynical, Kings of the Weekends, Los Angeles, San Diego, California... I'm done listing. I could list every one. Not even joking. They're all SO GOOD. Well worth the wait. WELL worth the wait.

 

I am part thrilled and part relieved!

 

This album is good. Catchy as fuck. Long live Matt Skiba.
