Finally saw this tonight for my birthday. After hating the trailer's misdirection, I knew I needed to see this before it left theaters and oh my goodness. It really was as great as everyone said. Black Panther had me awe-struck and I did not expect to see that much Spidey. Almost started crying stupid fat tears for his entire performance. I think I've finally found an onscreen Peter Parker that I enjoy.

 

I still hate Ant-Man's new helmet design. Why did they add wings? It just doesn't look right. The original is so much better.

 

Didn't even notice the change. The whole suit is kind of bland to me.

 

I liked the original one, but the new one really makes me shy away. Not sure why they felt he need to alter it. Still think has the best overall design.

 

Black Panther looks slick. They nailed that costume. I really like the actor that was cast, too.

Yep that's what they look like to me.

 

So do I. Thought he did a great job. Can't wait for his solo movie to come out.

I was actually really surprised by how much I liked the new Spider-Man, too.

One other thing I noticed while watching Captain America. And this may have been during Winter Soldier, but Stephen Strange gets a name-drop. I think it's by one of Hydra's guys. But before I saw the trailer for Doctoe Strange, I didn't know who he was, so I never caught it.

 

yeah, Agent Sitwell drops his name on the roof being interrogated. referring to potential threats to Hydra.

 

They're antenna. The previous suit had them too, they were just a smaller version. The first suit was supposed to look dated, this one is supposed to be more modern. I do like the other one better though

 

I like the new one more, tbh, sorry?

 

Yeah I figured that's what they probably were. Still, they are too bulky. Anyhow, just a small complaint.

 

Which movie is this scene from? I don't remember this happening.

 

It's a deleted scene from Iron Man 2, I believe.

I feel like this is just a goofy way of saying that he's not Cap now but will don the mantle again in Infinity War, lol, but feel free to speculate away on Sam or Bucky having the mantle instead. I'm personally still pushing for Sam Cap while Steve takes on a Nick Fury style role, but I guess we'll see what happens.

 

Yea, I don't think it means someone else will be Cap in his absence. Especially since Sam was on Steve's side and Bucky is on ice and not Stark's favorite person haha!

He will probably just be Steve Rogers until Tony gives him the shield back.

 

I read that earlier, the headline is incredibly "click-baity".

But if I had to choose a replacement Cap between Sam and Bucky, I pick Sam. He's earned it. I still don't think they really fleshed out Bucky as a character yet so him taking up the mantle wouldn't feel earned.

 

I'd pick Sam too. He seems more suited for the role. Still love Bucky, though.

Guarantee Bucky will become Captain America in phase 4. No way is Chris Evans not going to be CA for the Infinity War films (we still need his "as long as one man stands" dialogue with Thanos). I think some people are just looking too deep into what the Russo bros said.
