There was a period where I was trying to hunt down everything Lydia related and you made it easy on me. Pumped for a Matt Malpass solo record.

 

What's everyone been hunting for lately? With the new BNO record coming out, I've been trying to find a reasonably priced copy of Make Yourself Sick. Convinced it doesn't exist.

 

I'm always on the hunt for Ryan Adams stuff.
He has so many limited Pax Am 7"s. I have a good amount of them but always looking for the hard to find ones.

Seems like I periodically type in "A Wilhelm Scream" on ebay/discogs just to see if anyone's listing some of their stuff reasonably.

 

I'm always looking out for Less Than Jake. I have a buddy who's going to Warped and is picking me up the Warped Tour exclusive versions of Hello Rockview and Losing Streak so I will have a complete set of the rereleases lol. =)

 

As far as unreasonably priced records go, I've just always got an eye out for Sun Kil Moon records.There's a copy of Universal Themes on Amazon for like $25, but outside of that, everything is easily over $150. Someday I'll end up splurging on Ghosts of the Great Highway, just to say I did and to own my favorite album of all-time.

 

I snagged Benji when it came out. Goes for stupid money for no reason.

Edit: The reason is because the record is outstanding.

 

Is Less than Jake stuff typically tough to find? I've never sought it out too much to know.

 

i've been trying to sell a bunch of stuff, hoping to sell at least a few records and get a couple hundred bucks out of that

 

Yes and no lol. They have so much stuff that if you don't have a collection, it's easy to find a good chunk of things, for relatively normal or inexpensive prices. But I have a pretty big LTJ collection and most of what I'm trying to track down is a bit more obscure or just super limited.

 

With these recent pickups, you'd think I was depressed. Nah, just broke.

 

Tiny Engines has a 4th of July sale (15% off select titles). I grabbed Mother by Runaway Brother. Anyone know of any other sales this weekend?

 

since someone brought up the subject of records we have been looking for lately, I thought I'd chime in.

I've been trying to find a copy of Augustana - Can't Love, Can't Hurt for well over five years now.

The other record that has been on my wantlist for a long time now is The New Frontiers - Mending. god I would love to own that album.

Everything Was Sound came in, and I was super bummed to see it didn't come with a lyric sheet/booklet.
most bands I'd be okay with that, but Silent Planet is such a lyrical band, the dude even puts footnotes in every song with the things he's referencing/taking inspiration from. the back cover even talks about the booklet and a little insight into the concept of the album, saying it's further explained in said booklet, which I don't have. Gonna shoot the band/label/merch co an email inquiring as to whether this was something accidentally left out when packaging them, or a total oversight for the vinyl version.

anyone in the US ordered off of the EU Kings Road site? Pretty smooth process?

Kind of a silly question I guess but what would I put in the "Number" box beside "Street Address"? That section isn't on the US site and im not sure what it is.

 

The number before your street name.

 

So in the street address box you just put the name of your street? For instance, if my address was 1234 Jones Road, I would enter "Jones Road" in the first box and "1234" in the next?
