Saving the album for my 8 hour drive to Arizona on Saturday, or maybe I'll save it for my drive back into SoCal.

Anyway I really love the new 1975, even though it has about 30 minutes of filler.

 

That's almost half the album... ha.

 

Ha I guess so. Well my playlist for it is around the 40 minute mark, which is fairly standard for other bands, so it doesn't bother me

 

yeah, the whole album is like 75 minutes or something. good idea though just making the playlist of the songs you like. maybe i should try that.

 

So with the Japan bside. I guess most people are going to drop it into the album as track 17 on itunes, rendering the Brohemian spoiling California as last track as a moot point? (Brohemian doesn't bother me anyway, just 30sec of guitar with a quip at the end, not even song ranking it later )

Or you go for a bsides folder with not now, I won't be home, family reunion etc

 

Also "I'm empty like a movie set" is such a hoppus lyric :D

 

I think the biggest difference between Mark and Tom is that Mark is afraid to alienate fans, Tom is not. amirite!?

California will be the first Blink album i purchase/listen to (aside from the singles) since Enema of the State.

 

Damn you've missed some great music

 

Yeah it certainly made the album more palatable for me

I think it works better in the middle, I woulda replaced No Future with it.

 

Or ... two know what blink is and one doesn't.

 

Played the f*** out of this and it still holds up very well.

Does anyone know why Japan and/or other countries always get the bonus tracks? Also, how can I purchase that version?

 

This is such a refreshing album to get from them

 

Yeah would be interesting where they would put it considering the deluxe of Neighborhoods was scattered through out. To be honest I have no idea which ones were deluxe tracks anymore now that version seems so normal to me

 

If I remember correctly, it's typically cheaper to buy albums overseas if you live in Japan, so they have to encourage local purchasers with extra tracks.

Just got my vinyl! Downloaded the album with my card that came with it and I love the all black album art...only thing is it's super low-res.

Can anyone upload a hi-res version of the black album art?
