YES!!! MCS has become one of my favorite bands as of late, and I’ve repeatedly been kicking myself that I never got the chance to see them. I’m so excited!

Yup... knew this was happening. No way does a show get announced six months in advance and it not be a full blown tour.

I'll be seeing him next Sunday in Boston, should be fun.

    More of a hiatus

Yeah I assumed it was just a temporary hiatus while they did other things in their lives.

Kinda confusing though. They kept calling it a “hiatus” but at the same time made it sound like they were breaking up for good

everyone knew this would happen... a little quicker than i expected...and surprised they werent some big "get" at a festival prior. but hey, they're gonna make money. January tour is interesting too

If you’re gonna do a big tour, January is actually a good time. There’s virtually no tours to compete with. I tend to go shows that I normally wouldn’t in January/Feb because my concert schedule is typically light. Also, I’ve noticed that shows in the winter typically sell way better here due to the lack of competition.

Can I be the guy who looks a gift horse in the mouth? I'm kind of annoyed their Chicago show is on NYE.

I feel that. I would go to Chicago and see them, but no one would want to do that with me on NYE

They should play My Dinosaur Life in full for the 10 year Anniversary
