Vikavolt is so awesome! Dammit. Galvantula may now have competition as my favorite electric bug.

Drampa and Tapu Koko are pretty cool too.

Cool. Kinda thought so but wasn't sure with the long tail

 

since the islands are named after colors and the first one is yellow with an electric guardian, good chance the other corresponding guardians are fire/fairy, water/fairy, and grass/fairy.

 

I'd love this. I hope their designs are strong.

 

They got it right with gen 6. They didn't do many new Pokemon, but they were all good designs(I didn't hate any of them). But I already hate two of the Gen 7 designs, so I fear that they'll go for quantity over quality like they did with Gen 5 again.

 

Cutiefly is such an awful name

 

I hope Cutiefly gets a Floette-Eternal equivalent.

 

Gen 5 was basically a reboot. I don't see them doing that again.

 

I would love to see somewhere in between the number of monsters that gens 5 and 6 had for 7. a little over a hundred would be a nice middle ground. i hope it's not 70 something again because that would mean we have already seen a third of the new mons.

 

I'd rather already have a third of the new Pokemon than have bad designs like Gen 5

 

Gen 5 wasn't THAT bad

 

I'd assume all names are Romaji English translations and not official English names. We'll see tomorrow.

 

Gen 5 was great. Much better than 4 imo.

 

I love gen five a lot.

The Simi pokes are hugely underrated. I find myself sweeping with them a lot after one Nasty Plot.

 

3>2>1>6>4>5

 

Gen 5 is class. Gen 4 is the worst by a good bit imo.
