only one I've taken a chance on was Tomorrow's Tulips' "Eternally Teenage" that I was pretty impressed with.
all the other dollar bin albums I've gotten were something classic I knew I'd like.

 

Picked up a copy of Ageatis Byrnjun and an FYE exclusive variant of Holy Ghost (ultra-clear and aqua blue color in color) this past weekend. Wildly different records, but both sound amazing

 

How was the price on Ageatis Byrnjun? My local shop likes to jack up the price on Sigur Ros stuff.

 

It was $30. A little pricey for what I usually try to spend, but worth it for this record in particular (180g 2xLP + CD). The have Kveikur for $20 and Hvarf/Heim for $22 though, I'm looking at those next. I should've jumped on Valtari while it was still there.

 

Nice man. $30 is about right for that one. Really want Hvarf/Heim on vinyl.

Picked up my first record player today. After having about 30ish vinyl I finally decided to cave on one. I got the Audio Techinca AP-LP60($99). I find it a very awesome player for me being a first timer. Here is what I spun on it today:



HAIM - Days Are Gone(2xLP set)was my first record to put on and it sounded incredible. Listening to it through a Bose Soundlink 30.

 

It's only available with the Almighty Norma Jean Box Set unfortunately. I'd love to own thy record, too.

 

I know....that's why I want someone to sell it to me separate haha. I love the record but I don't really get down with anything else from them.

Was able to get 30% off today as a Barnes and Noble member, so I snagged their copy of the remastered Louder Than Bombs 180g 2xLP for only $24

Now I just need Rank and I'll consider my Smiths collection complete

Absolutely adore this album and would love to own a copy on vinyl; my only hangup is the artwork seeming kind of stretched and pixelated. I'm guessing it's worth it, though?

 

There's so much to love about this album. The pressing sounds solid, but the jacket is a little wonky--pixlelated art like you said and inaccurate track names on the back. I was on the fence for awhile about buying this just because I don't want to sit through the Hat Song ever again, but I'm glad I grabbed it.

 

Finally grabbed Vasudeva's Life in Cycles.
