Same on both counts. I think that's my favorite Blink song period.

 

Also, Busted is a decent comparison for 5SOS, but Busted are far better songwriters.

 

I'd love a darker record eventually, but I prefer the way California sounds first. Ease me into this lineup. I'd rather they distance themselves from the Tom trajectory of their sound first. And, honestly, I'd like to believe this is genuinely what the band wanted and what felt the most natural to them.

 

Just give me a Cure inspired record and then take more influence from The Cure setlist wise

I'm okay with a darker Blink, but I'm 100% cool with them releasing whatever they feel comfortable with releasing. Plus, a dark album released in July?...

 

I love that song. So many people seem to have beef with it, but it's one of my favorites from Untitled.

 

Hopefully they get us a dark album Oct 31 2017.

Yes, fucking do that please. Very happy they released the peppier record as a reintroduction, but let's get some more deep-throated Mark and Matt harmonies going! +44/Alkaline Trio in a blender would be sick.

I love you all but kindly fuck off throwing any plans of trio not at least gearing up to get back into the studio by next fall into the universe. I WILL NOT STAND FOR IT.

 

A dark album would be stellar. I wouldn't mind if they went the goth pop route like Trio did with Crimson.

 

It's so nice to feel great about this band again.

We are all greedy children already wanting more albums from them. :)

 

He said that Trio would probably get to writing after this big album tour was over with blink. Don't forget Matt hates taking a break lol. I don't think there's any way that they wouldn't be in the studio by next fall.

 

I'm more than confident we will get another Trio album, obviously Matt and Dan are busy but I'm not sure what Derek has been doing besides promoting his solo album.
