I checked the order status of my +44 vinyl. Apparently my order was cancelled, with no notification and no apparent reason. Thanks SRC!

mine was “processing” since January. It’s not really a big deal because it’s still available to order... just weird and a little annoying

    They’ve really handled this poorly

Calling this an alternate version of a track is as bad as them claiming there were 5 unreleased tracks included in the Mark, Tom & Travis Show. Anyone else remember that? The sticker on the outside of the album said that, but really it was just Man Overboard + 4 tracks where they just slightly altered the title from the original and they sang a different lyric. Marketing!

Man Overboard, Blow Job and Country Song were the only unreleased tracks. I know they changed Dick Lips to Rich Lips for some reason but what was the 5th song?

  7. I think they considered “Family Reunion” unreleased.

I remember that being the first time I felt "swindled". I think I was 14? Hilarious.

Yeah good call that’s the only other song that it could possibly be. I’d surprised they didn’t include 13 Miles in that live album even if it was a bonus track at the end but I guess they needed a reason for people to buy the Man Overboard single.

Isn’t that what the album is? Haha.

“those great blink-182 one liners” is pretty deceiving:crylaugh:

oh my gosh. it's definitely worded in a way that isn't as clear as it could be. plus the rich lips thing dude.

Yeah, I don't see a problem with that sticker at all?

Played that CD until it evaporated. Also doodled that album cover 100's of times.

I guess I don’t see the conspiracy you are. It says new song Man Overboard which is true and never released songs only heard in concert (which are Blow Job and Country Song) which is also true. What am I missing?

The conspiracy thing was just me being hyperbolic as I recalled a goofy memory from my youth. Everyone stand down. It's fine. We're all fine. That was a great release.

I have a copy of The Mark, Tom, and Travis Show still in the shrink wrap. I figured I'd play the one I originally bought until it wouldn't work anymore and then CDs disappeared.

Not to mention the album is in fact not live at all. All recorded in a studio besides travis's drums and the stage banter. everything else overdubbed. Hence why it sounds a lot better than they did live at the time. Kiss Alive is same deal

  20. I'd have to check to be sure, but I believe some of the performance is live too. TMTATS is a blend of 2 shows, but I have audio from one of them that you can listen to.

  21. Nah. There’s bootlegs from the shows it was recorded at. Lots of punch ups and fills (and they’re super obvious now when you listen), but it was not “all recorded in a studio.”

  22. Hell yeah. That pulp fiction intro was rad. I miss dope intros from bands. NFG had great ones too.

My favorite is the Ric Flair theme (I refuse to call it anything but that) straight into The Rock Show during the TOYPAJ tour.

I hate the cut in to sounds of crickets during one of Mark or Tom’s jokes towards the end of the album maybe after Wendy Clear or Carousel. It makes it super obvious it was inserted and not part of the concert.
