I was a little sad the day I clicked on AP.net on my bookmark toolbar and realized it was gone, but looks like it's pretty much the same community here as AP.net so I finally pulled the trigger and signed up. Good to see everyone again. My username on AP.net was allisterkid since like 2002, hopefully some of ya remember me.

Anyways, I'm about halfway through this album and it's pretty impressive. My favorite song so far is the first one. Matt really fits in with Blink though. He's no doubt in my mind a more talented musician than Tom, so it was really ever going to be a matter if he'd fit as "Blink" or if it would sound more like Plus 44 featuring Matt Skiba... I'd say this is the direction Blink 182 would have went regardless. Good stuff so far!

Blaaaaah. Called both usps and kings road. Apparently some of them did already get shipped out early by mistake; the reason mine is getting two different readings is because it's preparing to leave the warehouse, and most likely won't ship until 2 days prior to Friday. Why can't I be one of the ones that got it early. This ALMOST makes me want to get the leak lol. Almost.

Anyone going to the GMA performance on Friday? I got tickets but I'm still on the fence......having to wake up at like 4am to get there on time, and then commit to a full day of work, sounds absolutely terrible.

 

And now the postal workers are considering a strike/lockout starting as early as July 2nd, might be awhile til I get my preorder. GAH

 

I did a couple years in the past. I had downloaded a torrent for Jimmy Eat World and my fiancé had downloaded Framing Hanley. A couple weeks later we got letters from two different companies(I'm assuming that either the torrents were being tracked or my Isp turned me in) threatening lAwsuits. Luckily my best friends dad is a lawyer and he worked it so I basically got a wagging finger and a don't do it again lol. But I swore off illegal forms of music since.

In reference to a convo from about 2 pages back. I am only interested in this album because I grew up a huge Trio fan. I have never been a blink guy but am definitely curious to see what Matt brings to the band.

Skiba is actually from my hometown so I have a rooting interest. Nothing but the best for Skiba and AK3

Ouch...it seems that in US these kind of companies have more possibilities for threaten with the lawsuits. I know that in Europe, Germany is doing a lof of similar activities.

I would never have guessed they would hit #1 two months ago. Really happy about this. Hope the follow-up goes at least top 10.

I know "She's Out Of Her Mind" is set to be the 2nd single, but I think "Sober" has a better chance of blowing up on both Alternative and Pop radio.
