Could be possible Friday is just announcing a one off show for Chicago outside of the festival. I feel like some Riot Fest bands have done that in the past. Loop it into the same weekend or whatever.

 

Regarding there originally being no pit, Mark's reasoning was "People like knowing where their seat is."

 

HA. Yup, thanks for the confirmation that Mark is not being totally up front trying to blame the promoter today. This has really soured me on the show. Hoping I can sell my tickets for face value and not support Ticketmaster in any way shape or form.

Not saying it couldn’t be, but I’m not really sure what from that exchange indicates Friday will be album info. Not seeing it.

 

Seems like more tour information that they couldn't release earlier.

 

Lil Wayne just played at Soundset Festival in Minnesota over Memorial day weekend, so his radius clause probably expires soon which means they can add more tour dates, like the rumored Minnesota date, which seems likely given the context of that tweet.

Friday makes sense so they can meet the 10AM Friday standard onsale time for ticket releases.

 

Yeah, I'll bet it's only some more tour information. Crossing my fingers for more than just that though, but keeping my expectations very modest.

I know I'm probably wrong but I have this weird feeling that the album won't be out until after the tour.
