If I’m going with a color variant, i always like when the color scheme ties into the album art, so for me it’s hard to wish for a specific variant without knowing what the cover looks like

 

Speaking of vinyl this +44 debacle with src makes me not want to preorder from them ever again

He doesn’t want to be in the band, he can’t sing live, he took forever to produce new music, he’s a sloppy guitar player, and his songwriting certainly isn’t anything to rave about in recent memory.

 

What's going on? Just delayed? I have the OG pressing but thought about picking up the repress.

It was supposed to come out mid April. Got delayed to beginning of May. Then got delayed to end of May. Still hasn’t shipped

 

Me too. I wanted that tin variant of the greatest hits but I didn’t buy it because is these guys

 

Eh, that's kinda par for the course with vinyl these days. The record came out in 2006, you can wait an extra month for the vinyl lol.

At least it isn't as bad as the "Mightier than Sword" TOYPAJ debacle.

 

I’ve only been buyin vinyl since November, but this is the first time I’ve ever seen this happen.

 

Delays happen a lot. I wouldn't be too upset if it was a repress like this and wasn't a new release but that's just me. SRC will deliver eventually.

 

Vinyl delays happen all the time. I've never really had much of an issue with SRC, personally. But yeah, when MTS was putting out that ultra deluxe TOYPAJ pressing, that was a mess, ha. But they kept us all up to date on the process, as far as i remember.

 

Haha I forgot all about MTS. I was watching that one from the sidelines, and I’m not sure I’ve ever seen people madder on the internet.

 

I don't think I've ever ordered from SRC and NOT had a delay...and I order from them often. Most of the time though, it's not really their fault.

 

My +44 vinyl is gonna be 2 months delayed. Meanwhile The Dangerous Summer vinyl I preordered is arriving 2 weeks early lol

 

Cancellation? No. Another rock opener being added? Yes

 

Toronto seems to be doing alright... But we also have Simple Plan instead of Lil Wayne lol

 

Mine is too lol I just ordered it on Wednesday and it’ll be here tomorrow

 

Yikes. Is this only the 2nd full US tour with Skiba?

 

To a pressing plant, I think an album pre-order is a higher priority than a repress of an older album, so that makes sense. I assume that's how it works anyway.

I dunno...my show is only a month out and there a TON of seats still available.

I think they priced the tickets too high for this one.

 

Regarding the +44 issue, there’s a shortage of pressing plants in the US. New releases get priority, so represses get put on the back burner. Especially when larger bands push out new albums.

That being said, it’s hard to gauge when and how long these delays take so SRC should push the date out 2 months initially. That way if it ships early, people are happy haha.

 

Has nothing to do with Skiba. Has everything to do with ticket prices and people being idiots

 

Dude needs to watch his mouth calling blink either disgraceful or disgusting.... but yes - my show in St Louis has virtually zero tickets sold in the second level. I imagine ticket sales will take a huge jump once the new album is released.
