If hypothetically Mark were to leave the band and be replaced by someone else, would it even be blink at that point? Completely different lineup than when they started haha

Plot Twist: Mark leaves the band & Tom replaces him on bass, then Matt sings both Mark & Tom's parts.

 

I hope they announce their new album details soon so people can find something different to talk about. Plus I want new music.

Ya, it's too bad...I think they play it really well.

Also they should add Anthem to the set list.

 

To answer my own question: no, I don't want Tom back. BUT, should the day come that he were to return, I wouldn't want Matt to leave either. Matt is committed as hell, so it wouldn't be fair to force him out or even asking him to leave. I know there are A LOT of Tom lovers that want him to be back, but no matter what they do they can't please everyone. Matt should be a part of the band no matter what happens.

Pretty simple, Matt is in blink as long as he wants to be. When he's not, it'll be Tom-blink in the lowest possible capacity. Probably tour like once like every five years. Probably not produce any new music.

 

when blink makes the hall of fame then Tom comes back with Matt. maybe a joined tour and thats about it.

 

Heaven forbid people wonder about the return of the guy who started/wrote the most popular songs of the band that this thread is about......

 

I just laugh at the shots people take at Tom in this thread, it's really stupid.

Like honestly, if you’re really a fan of Tom you should also not want him back in Blink. Let him just go do his alien stuff that he actually enjoys and is passionate about.

That's fair, though Tom's obviously still interested since he keeps talking about them even when promoting AVA stuff.

Personally I would rather have new +44 and Alk3/Skiba solo music than Blink 182 with Matt Skiba.
