At my job, I take the elevator, and I get off at the third floor. Each time the elevator says “Third floor” I sing “been caught twice!” Ha.

If carousel was the first song Tom and Mark wrote together, why wasn’t it on Fly Swatter? Hmm.

 

It may have not been finished. Maybe they just had the bass line and main riff but not the entire song yet until Buddha was being written.

You didn’t really miss anything of note. The only thing I can really think of is that Mark was asked if the album title, track list, or album art were done, and he responded 1/3. He later said it wasn’t the track list that was finished.

Yeah I think Mark was asked that question awhile ago but if I’m remembering it correctly Mark asked Tom if he was working on anything and Tom played the guitar part and Mark said he was working on something that fit perfectly which was the bass part but they didn’t have any of the lyrics written/finished yet when they recorded Flyswatter (or Demo # 2).

 

BIOMY is up to #18 on the alt rock radio charts.

Just heard Aliens Exist finish up on the radio. First time I ever heard that song on the radio.

My lady just texted me saying that the DJ on the radio just said "I hope Blink reunites and goes on tour this summer."

 

That DJ should be fired

 

I'm starting to feel like pre-orders will start a week or so before the tour starts and will include another song. Then a release date for the album sometime in August.

 

I've lost mine already.

 

No attention span. Blame it on your youth, I guess this is growing up

 

Aliens Exist

 

We got a song along with a major North American tour announcement 20 days ago. Besides them actually announcing the album what else is everyone expecting?

Just for comparison sake Bored To Death was released on 4/27/16 along with the album and tour announcement. Rabbit Hole wasn't released until 6/8/16 and No Future was released on 6/23/16.

So you can't use the "we need another song" argument for the blink buzz to be fading.
