PRetty shit Raw outside of those two matches.

 

they had so many opportunities to do interesting things there. Instead, somehow Battleground is gonna have a more legit card than Wrestlemania

Wish they had Rollins make a stronger case as to why Reigns shouldn't be in the triple threat.

At least we got two great matches despite having zero effect on the next PPV.

 

So Sami and KO are getting split up in the brand split, right? I feel like that is the only way this "ends" at Battleground.

I'm going with Sami and KO both getting drafted to Raw, neither is happy, both agree that the loser of their match has to go to Smackdown.

 

Was debating with myself whether or not I wanted to go to Raw, even though I was in Tampa with a free ticket. Had to drive from Miami to Tampa and was up at 5 am. Wouldn't have gotten home until 3 or 4 am had I stayed through the whole show. Decided I'd catch the first hour and then head out and pray Finn didn't debut. Definitely made the right call (though I'm bummed I didn't get to see the New Day segment—had Raw playing on my phone in the car and was very sad I had to keep my eyes on the road and couldn't give that segment my complete and undivided attention)

 

oooh i didnt even notice/see that Becky straight up attacked Natalya before her match! cool. I actually do like that, I want more of that from this angle/Becky especially.

Just watched the opening segment and New Day segment.

Didn't like Dean blowing off the drug test as if it was just another mistake, thought he should have felt betrayed. Roman's returning as good guy superhero trying to win back the fans respect that he never had.

New Day was great and I absolutely loved how terrified Xavier looked throughout the whole thing. This is going to end with the Wyatts going over though and the end of the New Day sadly.

 

Then Big E can take his rightful place at the top of the company.

 

I'm going to make a PPP like prediction for the main even of Battleground: There will be a contested finish where two of the former Shield members pin the other at the same time, and after we're going to get a "whose the real champion?" angle that will lead to the titles splitting apart again somehow.

 

Im not so sure on that. I do think the Wyatts should win the tag titles though.

And having Xavier break apart for a bit, then come back, is fine with me as long as its as entertaining as last night

 

Based on the entrants already announced, I could see Jeff Cobb going over at BOLA.

 

The only reason I don't like that is because WWE wants to make Smackdown equal to Raw. Doesn't exactly start SD off on the right foot when one guy winds up there as a punishment.

 

ko should be going to smackdown, he's a more viable potential brand champion. plus he's got good chemistry and an established background with shane.

 

Any update on whether RAW will remain 3 hours and Smackdown 2? Doesn't seem too fair to SD talent if RAW gets more time to shine every week.

 

If Smackdown is a tighter produced show with good writing, it gets a FAR better deal there. Less filler and time wasting.

 

Unless they just have a smaller roster...then it works. But if it's the same size then some of the lesser talents on SD brand will suffer.

 

Raw is staying 3 and SD is staying 2

No it doesn't. Raw is going to be a drag. It already is without the split. We are going to see more jobbing and less meaningful stories. Hell, we are already suffering from that.

 

It would be great if Woods ended up joining the Family somehow.

 

This brand split is going to be a disaster either way.

 

I've read that USA is pushing to make Smackdown a 3 hour show, so if there is any truth to that, it will probably happen.

Also, please WWE, bring Roddy to our televisions.
