I re-listened to this album today, it’s very very good and I wish more people were talking about it.

 

I just had this playing in my vehicle. I don’t think any song sticks in my head as much some of my favourite MCS songs with the exception of ‘Drink’. I think first solo albums are always a huge stepping stone. Obviously a good enough record to go back and listen to. I think second solo albums are often even stronger than the first.

 

Has anyone heard his RSD EP yet?

 

I felt that way when it came out but today it really hit me. Undone, Anchor, Moonbeam, Shoulder the Weight, and In the Drink are all ones that immediately come mind but I think the whole thing is really strong. Maybe the spring weather made it click.

 

Justin has some super catchy lyrics and phrasing. I like it, because just doesn’t jump ahead of any of my favourite MCS records. That’s fine though.

 

did anyone pick up the record store day album? if so, how is it? I have the 7 inch with My Girl Margot on it and that's pretty sweet.

 

I downloaded a vinyl rip of the album and it's nearly unlistenable, just absolutely horrible quality. Going to have to wait for something better sounding to exist before I even try to listen again

 

So keen to find a digital download of the My Girl Margot 7" and Open Mic At The Low Fi ep.

 

I hold this album very close to my heart these days.

 

So it’s almost past two months from
The Record Store Day release. Does that mean it may get released digitally too?

Finally! The sound quality can finally be better than total shit

 

Having In the Drink, Thrice Palms and Menzingers After The Party album eras all expand because of RSD is fantastic.

 

Pretty sure Chris geller, the guy who drums for Pronoun also drums for this project, for anybody who cares about that kind of thing

 

Great album for this time of year.

Really good. Something to look forward to in March. Is this what he was working on with Mr Brett? Either way, pleasantly surprised to get a new track today.

 

Been listening to a lot of Justin today naturally, and I really have not paid enough attention to the Open Mic at the Lo-Fi EP, there's some great stuff on there.
