Just could not get past Rask tonight, unbelievable. Canes did play really well, definitely the best all series, but not enough.

 

Boston is just a better team top to bottom, this core has been the spine of a team that’s been competitive for the last decade. Canes are at the beginning of what I feel could be something similar, so i’m not getting too worked up about this.

 

It’s honestly impressive how Carolina makes the playoffs so infrequently and yet each time they do it’s no worse than the ECF. It beats the pants off of consistent first/second round exits.

They looked pretty good tonight, I’m thinking they at least take game 4

St. Louis and San Jose have been at the top of my teams I want to win the cup list for years, and Boston is always pretty close to the bottom of that list. Will be cheering heavily for either of the west teams.
