A Targayen/Greyjoy/Tyrell/Martel alliance is pretty much unstoppable, at least by a human army. I will be a little disappointed if Euron has built 1000 ships in no time at all...I imagine he might have a magic horn.

I mean, I know incest is operative in this world. But, it seems like one of the underlying narratives is how this new generation of rulers is sweeping away the conventions of the old world. That is why I am skeptical that they'd go for such an obvious pairing. I'm not sure what dynamic they're building between Jon and Sansa. It seems like they're supposed to be a new iteration of Ned and Catelyn.

They certainly wouldn't be aware of their genial ties though, unless Bran tells Jon.

So the only barrier there is the audience perspective.

How will Bran break news of this information? Will people just believe his time traveling mind powers?

    Yes, his "big cock"

If we're ranking potentially related storylines from the book, I'd much rather him be dragon food.

I think the note was just reassurance that her faith was all a ruse. I don't think the directors wanted us to read into that.

She was, but I think the lack of recognition she got for her role in the battle was still jarring, and sets up another piece for Littlefinger to use in order to attain his goals. All around the show females are coming into power and leading the way, and the one who tipped the scales in the North isn't even getting recognized.

Also, would Jon and Daeny be a weird pairing seeing as he's her nephew? I realize medieval sex dynamics are not really my forte, but I feel like they wouldn't be down for that.

my comment was intended as a joke and I would personally be very surprised if Dany and Jon get together for the very reasons you've described

The Cersei story line was way too over-the-top for my taste. Also, seems pretty unrealistic that KL would be so complicit in Cersei's coup, given that the Faith had the hearts of the citizenry and there's no way the entire Faith Militant was taken out in that explosion.

At least we're back in a place where there is nothing to contaminate the hate for Cersei. Back to really hoping she dies painfully. The scene with the Faith woman and the Mountain was pretty disturbing. Was really feeling sick, thinking they were going to imply rape. Also, very disappointed on how the story lines of Margaery et al were so abruptly resolved. Makes it feel like so much screen time has been wasted on King's Landing for the past two seasons-- cut out Tommen and it's a pretty seamless transition from the end of The Mountain and the Viper.

my roommate thinks Daario is going to be Dany's third treason that is prophesied. To what end, I have no idea.

I also wonder about the point of Sam being at the Citadel this late in the game. I can only imagine he finds something in a book that could help them defeat the Night King.

Do they have much of a choice though? I mean she pretty much single-handedly wiped out everyone who opposed her, she has all of the power now. I do wish we got to see what Margaery was planning.

The Warlocks of Qarth gave her the prophecy, "three treasons you will know… once for blood and once for gold and once for love”

It's often assumed Jorah fits into one of those for betraying her to Robert, as well as Mirri Maz Duur for killing her child.

Wasn't Kings Landing that was complicit, it was Qyburn's little birds (formally Varys's little birds)....they'll do pretty much whatever Qyburn wants them to because he takes care of them.

It seems pretty obvious that the next season will see Cersei dealing with the fallout of her decision to obliterate all of her enemies. I'm sure they will elaborate on the public's reactions.

You know how the waiting room Maester told him to wait in the library for the "Archmaester" to come see him? That's at least partly why. That character is going to play a role in things to come.

Yeah at that point the members of the court are going to be very few of the same people who had previously accepted the Sparrows rule. All those people went up with the Sept of Baelor, the people at the crowning were probably lesser nobles who made the trip to Kings Landing

    Game thrones is ameeeeezing.

Really felt bad mostly for Loras over everybody. Spent the last few minutes of his life being branded, thinking he was finally getting his life back. Then he gets cooked with most of his family.

Actually got up and cheered when Arya revealed herself.

Will miss Benjen. I feel like unless Coldhands had some return in the books I don't know about, that's the last we'll see him.

Even having predicted Cersei indirectly causing Tommen's death, and seeing Jaime angry, nothing felt cheap or too easy. These last two episodes have been some of the top GoT scenes of all time.

Mirri is obviously blood because she was getting revenge on her, no love or gold involved.
Jorah loves her, though so does Daario, though Jorah was pardoned, not given gold, and Daario is a sellsword tasked with something he doesn't want to do as a very rich man sails towards him.
